This week was Homecoming week. Surprisingly it did not cause too many distractions in the class. Actually I think that students were more relaxed. I stated my action research this week and you can see how that went in my action research post. I took over world history this week and it went well. I found that it is easy to get overwhelmed with everything. It seemed that no matter what I did I couldn’t seem to catch up. But it is getting easier. We had an open house, but I had to miss it due to having seminar. Which class and seminar back to back makes for an exhausting two days (FYI :o)). On Wednesday Mr. Ammons spoke to me about some parent and student concerns. Some were concerned about grades, but most grades in question were poor because students had not turned in their work. Also students were complaining about the hardness of the questions I was asking. Mr. Ammons thought I should make them easier. I do not completely agree with that but I did try to make them easier, or at least easier to understand. We will see how it goes when I grade the papers and their quizzes. I ended the week by going to the football game where CB killed Hundred.
