Week 9 Reflections

I am begining to think that the school is trying to see how many times they can pull kids out of a classroom and prevent them from learning material. This week I lost kids in three different classes due to the PPST.

On Thursday we had a faculty meeting while there the principle openly admitted that she is at a loss with what to do about the behavior problems. Not much got accomplished, we are going to revisit it on our ISE day. I think that the need to put an administrator on the second floor for the middle school. I also think they need ab easier form to fill out for bad behavior. It it very time consuming to fill the current form out. They also need to detail what type of behavior is taken care of by the teacher and what behavior is taken care of by the administrator.

I was also frustrated when I wrote a kid up for saying the "f" word in class. I wrote him up on Wednesday. Friday an administrator came in to get more information on the context of the situation. It was pointless to take care of it three days later. The kid probably doesn't even remember what he did.
