I just completed a unit on the election and I think that it went great!!! The students really got into it, I was very glad to see the high level of participation. I hope that it encourages them to vote in upcoming elections. I held a school wide mock election. Obama won the school. I was surprised because I thought that the school was in a very concervative area. Again overall, I was very pleased.
