Week three was uneventful. I took on more responsibility with teaching. I was working off of Mr. Ammon’s lesson plans for the week, however for the most part I was leading the class. I am getting to the point where I know all of my student’s names, which I have found to be very beneficial. It really helps with classroom management.
The interns at Clay-Battelle are also the advisors for Future Educator’s of America. We had our first club meeting this week. It went really well. We had about 30 students turn out to it. It is quite beneficial to be advisors to this organization because it helps us grow as educators and gives us the experience of being club advisors. We discussed our goals for the year. This year’s main goal was to fundraise money and become a nationally recognized organization. We had already signed the group up to do 50/50 sales at the JV football game on September 8th and we discussed other ideas for fundraisers.
